Description

The Systematics Icebreaker 480 is specifically designed to assist municipalities and utility departments in dealing with frozen pipes.

The Icebreaker 480 is designed with our unique Current Leakage Indicator (CLI). The CLI is a safety circuit built into the pipe thawing machine that helps eliminate the possibility of overheating the frozen pipe and resulting accidental fires. If the Icebreaker 480 is not connected properly the CLI activates an indicator light to inform the operator of the potential risk.

Benefits

Operates on common AC House Current or from a portable generator (4000 watts minimum).
Current Leakage Indicator (CLI) safety feature.
Portable - mounted on its own cart for easy transport.
Safer than traditional utilities method of using a high voltage CD welding machine to generate heat.
